Rules

Rules are Meridian Speedway rules with the notes below..

American Racer tires are allowed for all drivers.

Drivers must run the same 4 tires that they qualified on unless a tire is flattened on the track.  If a driver uses a tire other than those used for qualifying, that driver will be lined up scratch to begin the next segment.

The driver that finishes the final segment in 1st place is awarded the trophy regardless of points.

Passing points will be awarded for all main event segments unless for segments began in scratch position.

Purses will be distributed based on qualifying, passing, and finish points.

Drivers that are less than 5 laps down at the finish of segments 1 and 2 will begin the next segment on the lead lap.  Drivers involved in mechanical failures or crashes that cause them to finish segments 1 or 2 more than 5 laps down will be started on the lead lap of the next segment on a case by case basis as decided by the track's head official.

When a driver falls out of the race for a crash, mechanical problem, or other reason during segments 1 or 2 and isn’t able to continue, a car that didn’t qualify for the main segments, if available, will be placed in the next segment’s lineup in scratch position.

All restarts will be double file using a cone.

Spotters are not allowed.  Drivers must be listening to race control only.
